Fax2Send Shell API - Overview

The Fax2Send Shell API is the simplest way to integrate your Unix or Linux application with Fax2Send.

The 4 main commands in the Shell API are:

• fax2 to queue a new fax request
• fax2stat to take the status of the queue
• fax2retry to retry a request
• fax2cancel to cancel a request

You can also feed information back into your application by using the loglink script to react to events within Fax2Send.

Documents containing embedded fax numbers can be sent using the hpfaxspool command.
