Fax2Send Clients - for Linux and Unix

Introduction

The Fax2Send Linux/Unix Client is one of four clients for Fax2Send all of which are free of charge. The X-Windows and email client software are included in the server download and optionally installed by the Fax2Send Server Installation Wizard. They can also be added after server installation. The PC, Linux/Unix and Browser clients are seperately downloadable. A client is also available as is support for any existing email client.

Unix/Linux Client

This client enables fax integration with server applications on any other Linux or Unix server(s) on the network. All major Unix distributions are supported including AIX, HP/UX, SCO, Solaris, etc. These clients provides a shell API (Application Program Interface) to allow full integration with server applications allowing Fax2Send to act as a fax gateway for all networked servers. Fax2Send supports pre-printed stationery templates to enable formatted documents to be merged with forms at time of fax. When sending faxes from within server applications the use of Fax2Send is completely transparent to the user.
