Fax2Send Clients - E-Mail Client

Introduction

The Fax2Send E-Mail client is one of four clients available, all of which are free of charge. The X-Windows and email client software are included in the server download and optionally installed by the Fax2Send Server Installation Wizard. They can also be added after server installation. The MS Windows, Linux/Unix and Browser clients are seperately downloadable.

The Email Client

The E-Mail Client enables faxes to be sent from any existing email client on any system on the network. It uses Sendmail and during installation adds 'rules' to an existing Sendmail configuration. The Header Sheet 'look' can be changed using the X-Windows configuration tool. This client does not currently support attachments as the server has no way of 'knowing' what to do with them..

• Supports the BCC and CC fields
• Reports by email on the progress of the fax transmission. The report can be either the final 'result' - whether the transmission was successful or not, or at each stage of the transmission.
• Integrates with the Address Book of the current email client
