PCL Emulation - Symbol Sets

The following symbol sets are supported by the PCL Emulator:

• ECMA-94 Latin 1 (0N) - default
• HP Roman 8 (8U)
• PC-8 (10U)
• PC-8 (D/N) (11U)
• French ISO 25 (0F)
• Norwegian v1 (0D)
• German ISO 21 (0G)
• Italian ISO 15 (0I)
• Swedish Names ISO 11 (0S)
• UK ISO 4 (1E)
• HP-Spanish (1S)
• Portuguese ISO 84 (5S)

The default symbol set is controlled by the Symbol_Set parameter in the [PCL] section of /etc/fax2send/config.

For example, to set the default symbol set to Italian ISO 15 just set Symbol_Set=0I.
