Adding a Modem

Currently, the easiest way to add a new modem to Fax2Send is:

1. Edit the file /etc/fax2send/config with a text editor such as vi.
2. Copy the [faxmodem] section and call it faxmodem2 or similar.
3. Change the Device, LockFile and Debug parameters to appropriate values.
4. Add faxmodem2 to the Devices parameter in the [General] section.
5. Restart Fax2Send with the command "service fax2send restart"

Once the new section has been added it will be possible to edit the configuration using the fax2config tool on the Linux desktop.

Please note that a license upgrade may be necessary to run an additional fax line.
