Creating a Fax2Send Graphic from a BMP file

1. Create your graphic either with a paint program or using a scanner. For best quality images create or scan at 200dpi. Make sure that your BMP file is strictly black and white. Even if it looks black and white it still might contain a color map. Check Image/Attributes in Paint on a PC.
   
   
2. Transfer the BMP file to the Fax2Send server.
   
   
3. Run the command:
   
   /usr/lib/fax2send/bin/bmpunpack file.bmp -ohp-HT-logo -ffile.pcl
   
   file.pcl now contains a PCL graphical macro.
   
   
4. Copy file.pcl to /usr/lib/fax2send/macro and give it a suitable name.
   
   
5. Make sure the file is readable by the fax2 user.
