Configuration

Overview

The configuration files for Fax2Send are mostly stored in /etc/fax2send and can be edited from a terminal window while logged in as root, or using the configuration tool which is the middle 'Toolbox' icon on the Fax2Send X-Windows Client toolbar.

Most of the settings for Fax2Send are held as parameters in the config file.

Details of Cover Sheets and Graphics are detailed in separate sections.

Remember to restart Fax2Send after changing the configuration:

service fax2send restart

....and make sure that any files you create can be read by the fax2 user.
