The Fax2Send license file is stored in /etc/fax2send/LICENSE, and
for a licensed copy, stores the registration number and license key
in the format:
Registration Number License Key
e.g
WEB123456789
123456789-123456789
To install your License Keys:
During
the install using the Installation Wizard
When
you get to the installation screen "Select License Number"
click on the INSTALL LICENSE radio button. Enter the Registration
and License Numbers in the boxes provided and click on the INSTALL
LICENSE button
After
installation - it is not necessary to re-install
the server
Method
1
Open
a terminal screen
Login as root on the server running Fax2Send
cd
/etc/fax2send
vi
LICENSE
Enter
the License Keys as shown above in the first two lines replacing
the "EVALUATION" text
Save
the file with SHIFT ZZ
Restart
the Fax2Send Server with the command "service fax2send restart"
to re-read the LICENSE file
The
Fax2Send Server will restart with the purchased license
Method
2
If
the X-Windows Client is running click on the middle Toolbox icon
to open the Config tool.
NOTE: You need to be logged in as root. (If the Fax2Send X-Windows
Client is not running, open a terminal window, login as root and
type xfax2send
Left-click
on the LICENSE radio button
Enter
the License keys in the boxes and click on the SAVE button
