MS Windows Client Configuration

There are two steps involved in configuring an MS Windows client:

1. After you have installed the MS Windows client you need to run the configuration tool from Start/Programs/Fax2Send/Configure. The following information must be supplied:
   
   
   • Fax Server Host Name is the host name or IP address of the system running the Fax2Send server software.
   • Fax Server Port is usually set to the value 2001 to match the value of Socket in the config file on the server. Ask your system administrator before changing this value
   
   
2. Unless you have the Enterprise Edition, you will need to register the user with the Fax2Send server.
